What customers talk about us!
This was an amazing experience and place to stay. Had my own cabin with hammock and rocking chairs. Fridge provided, plenty of electric sockets. No glass in windows but good grills with provided natural cooling and no mosquitoes.
The ranch is run very ethically. This is a place to get back to nature. Relax and enjoy the scenery. Take part in the chocolate tour to see how the owner supports the local community.
Early dinner at 6 so staff can go home to their families. Set meals with all locally grown produce. You will wake early with the natural sounds of the rainforest.
Had a great time with the friendly dogs on site as well
We stayed two days, and if we come back, we shall probably stay a little longer to enjoy La Anita Rainforest Ranch and its surrounding. Our bungalow was very comfortable with a hammock on the balcony to appreciate the calm evenings. A very interesting tour of the cocoa plantation and it's chocolate making process (the chocolate is delicious!!!). For those who like hiking, you will find nice trails around the plantation. Breakfast and dinner are served in the restaurant overlooking a little lake (we discovered fresh "palm heart" which are so much better than the one we have access to in cans!). And last but not least, the amazing team who run this ranch will make your stay very enjoyable. If you intend to travel in Costa Rica, DO come and visit.
Perfect place to stay if you have a car! It's a bit of a drive to Rincon, but if you like to drive it is an amazing drive! The ranch is perfect wide and lots to see and do! Really do the chocolate tour
My husband and I enjoyed staying here for our last 4 days of our 3 week trip to Costa Rica. We did not want to leave.
The cabins are so quaint. No A/C but none really needed. The rooms do have a nice ceiling fan and the walls are screens so there is plenty of air. We sat on the front porch every morning and every evening in the rocking chairs just enjoying nature. Birds everywhere including the Toucan. Bring your binoculars.
The food was delicious every meal. We enjoyed the Chocolate tour and bought lots of chocolate to bring home as gifts. We enjoyed the dogs that live there. They would join you on hikes around the property. They showed us where to go and kept the snakes away.
We enjoyed this place so much and will return
